- Every Friday night is art night in Lahaina

- 1st Friday Monthly Maui Festival - 5:30 to 8 PM Outdoor street events, music, food and drinks - on Market, Main and Vineyard streets.

- 2nd Friday Art Festival in Lahaina  - 5 to 9 PM expanded art night, live music, food vendors. Adjacent to Front Street.

- 3rd Friday Maui Celebration in Makawao  - 6 to 9 PM live music, kid games, food trucks. Makawao Avenue and Baldwin Avenue.

- 4th Friday of each month in Kihei  -  6 to 9 PM  music, vendors, food trucks, restaurant specials. At Azeka Mauka shopping center parking lot.

The last Saturday of the month has meant stellar jazz, in all its permutations, at the Honolulu Museum of Art Doris Duke Theatre, From nostalgic jazz of an older era to modern jazz adaptations and crossovers, this new concert series offers something for all generations and features some of the best musicians from Hawaiʻi and beyond.

Improvaganza! Hawaii Festival of Improv, Honolulu, Oahu Hawaii

Improvisers from all over the world come to Honolulu for a weekend of improv performances, workshops, and events. The festival strives to cultivate Hawaii’s local improv theater community by showcasing local and mainland improvisers while providing opportunities for them to network with each other. The festival also strives to raise the profile of this rare art form by introducing audiences to entertaining, stimulating, and thought provoking performances, and by offering improvisational workshop with some of the country's best improv teachers. Improvaganza is the brain child of local improviser and festival executive producer Garrick Paikai. It was first produced in November of 2006 by Smash Box productions and Paikai’'s own improv group, ON THE SPOT IMPROV. Since its begining improvaganza has showcased over 80 acts from all over the world. Improvaganza is also a independent arts festival. It has no corporate sponsors nor is it a non Profit.
