The tropical weather of Hawaii is one reason islands and Waikiki-Honolulu area are so popular, with mild year-round temperatures range from the 70's to the 80's. There is more rain between the months of October – March than the rest of the year. A rain shower could interrupt your day, though they rarely lasts more than a few minutes before the sunshine breaks through again, often leaving a rainbow to admire afterwards.
Each of the Hawaiian Islands has its own micro-climate, depending on where you stay, the weather is greatly influenced by the local trade winds on the windward and leeward regions. As a general rule, the North and East facing coasts receive more rainfall than the South and West facing coasts.
